Snapchat has a new feature called My AI, which is a chatbot powered by artificial intelligence. You can chat with My AI and ask it various questions about Snapchat and other topics. However, if you don’t like this feature and want to get rid of it from your chat screen, you can do so easily. Here are two methods to remove My AI from your Snapchat chat screen.
Method 1: Clear My AI from Your Chat Feed
This method will delete the conversation with My AI from your chat feed, but you can still access it from the search bar.
- Open Snapchat on your phone and tap “Chat” in the bottom bar.
- On the “Chat” page, tap and hold on “My AI” and select “Chat Settings.”
- In “Chat Settings,” choose “Clear From Chat Feed.”
- Select “Clear” in the prompt.
Method 2: Unpin My AI from Your Snapchat+
This method will unpin My AI from your chat screen, but you can still access it from the Snapchat+ menu.
- Launch Snapchat on your phone.
- In the app’s top-left corner, tap your profile icon or your Bitmoji.
- On your profile page, in the top-right corner, tap “Settings” (a gear icon).
- In “Settings,” select “Snapchat+.”
- On the following page, turn off the “My AI” toggle.
That’s it. You have successfully removed My AI from your Snapchat chat screen. You can always turn it back on if you change your mind later.
