Horse Pregnancies in The Sims 4 Horse Ranch

If the breeding interaction was successful, you will receive a purple notification that your horse is expecting a foal within three in-game hours. During the pregnancy, your Sim will not be able to go for rides with the horse or take them for Community Jobs. Horse pregnancies are shorter than Sim pregnancies, typically lasting for a total of 30 in-game hours.

Once in labor, you can hasten the process by calling your horse to its bed and choosing the interaction to ‘Soothe into Labour’.

The Sims 4 Horse Ranch Foals: Hidden Secret Foal Traits

Once born, your foal will inherit a mixture of traits and physical attributes from both parents. Additionally, they will receive a hidden foal trait, such as ‘Playful’, ‘Curious’, or ‘Hardy’. These traits are randomly assigned at birth and cannot be influenced.
