By the way, Google Translate has never been known for reliably translating complete sentences since its inception. However, there’s now a much more reliable alternative: deepl.com. It can translate from German to English faithfully and much closer to actual spoken and written language. Deepl can also translate into other languages. The service is available for free on web browsers, and there’s also an app that can be downloaded from the developer’s website for Windows, macOS, and iOS. Unfortunately, deepl doesn’t currently offer an offline feature.
